Two best friends come back to India to get married

Marathi wedding sitting in mandap in an Indian wedding ceremony
Megha & Nakul both grew up in Australia. They decided to tie the knot back in India, so everyone from their family could become a part of their beautiful journey ahead. Not to mention, the same country where their parent’s story began. The three day wedding was full of love, laughs and fun.

BRIDESWEAR
On the wedding day our bride Megha wore an embroidered golden and beige coloured Frontier Raas lehnga matched with red colour veil.

For mehendi she chose a mixture of floral print skirt which goes well with the fucshia top with golden neck designs. A yellow flowered tiara to complete the mehendi look.

Shoes! Our personal favourite accessories from her wedding look. She got her beautiful shoes customised from Shoes of Prey. Their names written on these shoes just bring out all the sweetness.

THE STORY
Nakul ran into Megha on MSN messenger but did they fall in love instantly ? No they did not! Not surprisingly it was Nakul who started falling for her and Megha was not really interested in him initially. It took a couple of years, some secret dates and a lot more to charm Megha in falling for him.

“I told my parents I am going to attend my friend’s birthday party but actually I met him secretly. I felt awkward because he really liked me and kept running after me.” she said laughingly

“I think in love, you can’t really explain it. But for me and Nakul, it’s not just ‘Oh! We’re in love with each other!’ but we’re also best friends,” she added.
FAVOURITE MOMENTS FROM THE WEDDING

THE BRIDE”S ENTRY

Its right there when all the eyeballs turn for the bride . For Megha it was being carried in a Palki by her brothers and watching her groom tearing up in awe of her mesmerising entry to the mandap.
